Diary of Production

Week 1-4:

I’ve started off calibrating ideas into a mind map trying to discover what I wanted my experimental project to be on, I’ve also looked into different researching methods to help me discover on an idea. Such as journals, artist who specialise in different techniques and methods.

Week 5-7:

By week 5, I had chosen my project idea, specialising in photomontage/collaging based around child poverty. I then started looking deeper into Books, journals, blogs and other researching methods on my chosen technique and idea for experimental. I noticed I had took along time coming up with an actual idea for this project, I believe this is because the project was so broad and open, I found it hard finalising a specific point and method I wanted to produce.

Week 8-9

Although we was aloud to have this assignment in any way we wanted such as printed, sketchbooks et. I wanted to produce a blog as i’ve been recently using blogs for my other projects, I found it easier collaboration my sources and working with on a blog. So I started creating my blog, adding the relevant work I had found on different artists who pursued in the aura I was pursuing.

Week 10 – 15

I started on planning for my idea – Getting inspiration from other artist who have pursed in this aura. Finding various of techniques and explorations on how I could produce my final piece. All of my explorations and ideas I have done through this process have been added to the blog to finalise my Idea.

Week 15 – End

Finalising my final piece making improvements, adding more research to my blog and finalising any other touches. Also thinking about presentation my final piece and how I would like to present it in an exhibition. What would work best?

Last few days:

Evaluation and finalising for hand in.
