Final selection

My final selection of Images where extremely hard to choose as I wasn’t sure what worked well together. As observed in my postproduction you can see I only have that one shot of the girl which I want to use. I thought it would look cool if i duplicated the image and had a set of four but with different colours and techniques used.

I personally think the 4 shots work well together in a group you can see the process. However I do feel like the colours are very strong and over powering the meaning behind the photographs. As you can’t see the complete detail and sufficient connotation.

My second selection of images, I personally feel like their aesthetically pleasing. They contrive well together as a pair. In my opinion the image with the colour didn’t look that strong to be a tableau shot on it’s own. So I thought it needed something else with it, So i thought it worked well with the black and white shot as a collection.

The photograph conveys a lot of detail and emphasise the meaning I wanted my audience to witness. The photomontage style helps with the shot as it assembles and makes those stronger elements pop out in you’re face when visually analysing the piece of work. I wouldn’t change my final selection as I personally think it works well just two images together. I could of maybe added some colour in the black and white shot. But i feel the black and white shot brings so much power and connection as well as the coloured photo.

The final image is an old image from another project I produced, which was based around child poverty. I would of took more images but I personally like the portrait shot I have got as it pursues the meaning I wanted to portray. So I didn’t feel like I had to do another shoot. >>>The original image>>>
