This assignment assembled me to record a series of work that demonstrates my explorations of the idea of experimental. Which I’ve communicated by referring to photomontage, with in child poverty. I feel I have efficaciously achieved my initial idea by producing a blog. I’m pleased with my outcomes of choosing to record on a blog, which assembles of artist research, Critical theory’s, reflective journal where I’ve analysed my methods of working, post production and final product. As discussed in my proposal my overall outcome of images would just be the 1 photographic print, which would be mounted on to A3 mount board. I haven’t changed my idea I have kept with my original idea through out.

My initial research has influenced me throughout my work from the way I have produced my Images as a result of the elements I have triaged such as the technique used and how I’ve used the use of colour, the contrast and darkness with in my piece, Also the different viewpoints that I’ve overcome. My main influence through out this assignment has been ‘David Hockney’ as the way he creates an appealing fascinating photomontage Image. I feel like I have utilised Hockney’s work into mine by using similar elements such as the photomontage look, the use of squares and just the overall feel I have gone for. As very accruing in photography I have gone with an initial idea of having my final print in black and white. It is very common with in photography. As therefore why I choose the traditional black and white. But then I find it denotes the connection and overall feel of the shot it brings to the audience, where therefore if it was in colour. Although I have used partly colour in my final as I feel it brings out that extra touch and affect the image needs, which assembles those key aspects I’m trying to portray.

My overall outcome of my final piece portrays my idea in a way I depict child Poverty and the way It should be portrayed than what you would usually episcopacy. The technique I have experimented with, I believe fits in with my chosen topic and works well together.

Through out the project I have got miner amendments and corrections such as, my final piece, I wish I mounted it on to an A2 mount card than A3. As I’d of rather of had a border on the image, as I find it stands out more and brings the audiences eyes closer and more involved. Also throughout the assignment I wish I experimented with more techniques and explored more with photomontage as I feel I haven’t accomplished enough experiments in my journal other than what I’ve produced in the workshops. Regarding to the photograph of the child. I wish I did a test shoot for this where therefore I could show in my journal, as I feel I don’t have much to show as it was an old photograph, Although I am happy with my image and the outcome I have produced. On the whole I generally am happy with the amount of prints I have accomplished and my chosen aura I have gone with. Also pleased with choosing white mount board as it brings the black and white out more in the image as you can see the finer details and the contrast with in the piece. I feel like I have accomplished the assignment well and I personally believe it was successful.
